I recently read this article from the New York Times about Dr. Hauschka’s product and mission. They create environmentally-friendly skincare and cosmetics. The company is based in Germany and–get this– they create the products from the 150 different types of plants in their very own garden. For an internationally successful company, this is virtually unheard of! Many large corporations have tried to buy Dr. Hauschka. However, the owners are not interested, and prefer to stay independent to ensure that their mission is not compromised.
