Here’s an idea for a simple summer meal:
Fettuccine (store-bought or homemade) tossed with tomato, chopped basil, grated Parmesan, olive oil, salt and pepper. This is a great recipe for summer because you can grow the tomatoes and basil yourself, or get them at the farmer’s market.
Dessert? Watermelon or seasonal berries!

This post will compare four water bottles that are on the market. It can be confusing to know which to buy if you don’t already have a tried and tested favorite. So, here’s my take on Sigg, Klean Kanteen, Blue Q, and Pura. I’m sure there are other brands out there, but these are the [...]

<3 Chocolove. My boyfriend got me one of these bars and earned some brownie points, so to speak. This Boulder, Colorado chocolate company makes delicious all-natural chocolate bars. They have a few that are organic too. The best part besides the taste? Inside each wrapper there is a love poem, so it’s a nice treat [...]
Bon Appetit’s Green Issue

Bon Appetit’s February 2009 issue doesn’t get an A+ for its green score because it emphasizes a lot of meat (though it does say that grass fed beef is best). However, this issue is devoted to being green in the kitchen, and therefore I have to applaud them for trying. There’s a spread about 50 [...]
